Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of data center engineering experience with modernization/capacity focus.
• VA Public Trust — High Risk / Tier 4 background is required or obtainable.
• Familiar with ITIL v4, SAFe Agile/Scrum, NIST 800-53/RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data center engineering, modernization, capacity, resiliency, and infrastructure-optimization initiatives.
• Own the technical outcome for assigned engineering workstreams; guide junior engineers and provide design authority on reviews.
• Author reference designs and standards content across power, cooling, cabling, and compute domains.
• Serve as senior technical interface to VA stakeholders during design reviews, site assessments, and modernization planning.
