Job summary

Confidential Search is seeking a Senior Superintendent for a Midwest-based contractor with nationwide travel to lead data center field operations. You will drive schedules, coordinate trades, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on time on a national portfolio across the Midwest, South, and East Coast.

The role requires 10+ years in commercial construction, data center or mission-critical experience, and the ability to manage complex MEP scopes and large field teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent on large-scale projects.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex MEP scopes and multiple subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing.
• Ability to lead large field teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on large-scale data center projects.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and short-term look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate complex MEP systems and mission-critical construction activities.
• Drive site safety, quality control, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Lead project coordination meetings and daily/weekly field planning.
• Identify and resolve construction issues before they impact schedule or project execution.
• Work closely with project managers and senior leadership.
• Manage commissioning activities and project turnover.
• Mentor and develop superintendents, assistant superintendents, and field personnel.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and project partners.
