Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on data center projects such as new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You’ll perform analyses, create structural models, and coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

You will grow technically and progress toward leadership within the organization, with opportunities to travel and work within a flexible hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry design codes.
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to client sites (10%–20%).

• Performing calculations for member designs and foundations, material take-offs for estimating, and preparation of miscellaneous calculations; assist with schedules.
