Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing team, working on data center projects including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks and grow technical leadership while collaborating with internal teams and offices globally.

The role offers a hybrid work model in the United States, with opportunities to lead projects, mentor teammates, and contribute to major capital programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and structural analysis tools (RISA/STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, industry design codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and remote coordination tools.
• Travel to client sites approximately 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analyses and create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; prepare quantity take-offs and estimates.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
