Amazon is seeking a Real Estate Development leader to navigate entitlements for new data center sites across the U.S. You will work with landowners, investors, and government bodies to advance strategic expansion plans while aligning with AWS’s master plan and technical requirements.

In this role you will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to scalable infrastructure strategies for sustainable growth in communities where we expand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Real Estate, Business Admin or related field.
• 6+ years of Real Estate development experience (land acquisition, due diligence, design, development, build to suit, lease).
• Master's degree or higher in related fields is preferred.
• Experience in data center site selection, design and construction; public-private partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Lead land development efforts on new projects.
• Cultivate local government relationships and lead the entitlement process.
• Partner with developers and local jurisdictions and participate in meetings/hearings.
• Build and lead teams of vendors and consultants to evaluate site feasibility.
• Form strategy for required infrastructure improvements and manage partners.
• Lead multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously.
• Assist in developing site plans delivering best-in-class products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Legal, Economic Development, Risk & Resiliency, Public Policy, Construction and Capacity Planning.
