Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company seeks a Senior Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer to join the Operations Team. The role supports large-scale data center, vehicle manufacturing, and general build construction projects across the United States and requires extensive travel to client sites.

The contract opportunity offers 12–24 months with exposure to Prolog-based project controls and collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of similar construction engineering/project experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, building codes, standards, and construction processes.
• Strong understanding of the interdependence between engineering, construction, procurement, project controls, and other functional areas.
• Experience supporting construction planning, design interpretation, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing.
• Experience resolving and documenting design conflicts and processing RFIs.
• Experience with project documentation and construction management/project controls systems, preferably Prolog.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor planning and administration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to client project sites on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for construction activities, including planning, design interpretation, and constructability reviews.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with requirements and support the project schedule.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and control documents.
• Assist with monitoring expenditures, budgets, and financial progress.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize project financial performance.
• Manage engineering personnel and subcontractor planning activities.
• Coordinate with on-site teams to resolve technical issues while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Interface with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and management.
• Serve as a key technical resource for assigned projects.
• Manage RFIs, material status reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
