Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical data center projects for our clients nationwide, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk across all phases.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience planning, engineering design-build and/or EPC projects, with power delivery, water systems, networking and civil site development, and a track record leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP (PMI) certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency contingent on duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects for major clients in the U.S.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover across project phases.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, constructors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Lead client-facing delivery teams and manage contractual requirements and risks.
