Job summary

Metric DCX seeks a Project Executive with strong data center construction experience to oversee project delivery, lead client relationships, and support teams across multiple sites. This role requires managing large-scale builds from preconstruction through commissioning for a general contractor/owner operator.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in construction management, expertise across civil, mechanical, electrical scopes, and a proven ability to mentor project teams while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, including data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience with large-scale project delivery for a general contractor or owner/operator.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• Proven ability to mentor and support multiple project teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management abilities.
• Proficient with construction management software such as Procore and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for data center construction projects through full lifecycle.
• Serve as primary client-facing executive to ensure clear communication and successful outcomes.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk at portfolio level.
• Support and guide project managers, superintendents, and field teams for consistency and quality.
• Lead high-level coordination with design partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, codes compliance, and adherence to company processes.
• Assist with preconstruction efforts including estimating, planning, procurement, and design review.
• Identify and resolve escalated issues while driving continuous improvement.
