Job summary

Metric DCX seeks a Project Executive with extensive data center construction experience to oversee delivery, cultivate client relationships, and lead teams across multiple sites from preconstruction through commissioning.

You will drive project performance, manage budgets and schedules, mentor PMs and field teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time, on-budget results for complex hyperscale builds.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience, including data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience with large-scale project delivery for GC or owner/operator.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• Proficient with construction software such as Procore and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for data center construction projects throughout the full lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary client-facing executive, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management at a portfolio level.
• Support and guide project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure consistency and quality.
• Lead high-level coordination with design partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company processes.
• Assist with preconstruction efforts, including estimating, planning, procurement strategies, and design review.
• Identify and resolve escalated project issues while driving continuous improvement in execution.
