Job summary

Lease Crutcher Lewis LLC in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Senior Project Engineer-Data Center to lead technical on-site execution and mentor junior engineers. You will ensure coordination across civil, structural, enclosure, interiors and MEP, and manage shop drawing reviews, submittals and schedule pressures.

You will lead project controls, communications, and training, while enforcing contract terms, quality, safety, and timely close-out, with a strong focus on collaboration and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent years of experience required.
• Minimum of 7 years or more of general contracting experience, preferably with proven performance on large commercial building projects.
• Technology proficiency in Bluebeam is essential to success in the role.
• Creative problem solver and excellent communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert on the project team sharing wisdom and experience with less experienced project engineers.
• Supervise the Project Engineer work group on site, assuring quality control and timely delivery of all materials.
• Participate in broader company initiatives, training, committees and industry associations to improve our processes and outcomes.
• As requested, support the Project Manager with PM duties (possibly including meeting minutes, buyout, billings, cost control and change proposal pricing, etc.).
• Project Engineering: Review drawings and specs for design inconsistencies and coordinate building systems.
• Project Controls: Maintain schedules, RFIs, changes, and submittals; draft subcontracts as instructed.
• Communication: Lead open communication with team members and review correspondence with subcontractors and vendors.
