Job summary

DLR Group in Phoenix seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in data center projects to lead electrical design from concept through construction. You will develop power and lighting systems, coordinate with architects and other engineers, and produce detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in an MEP or integrated design firm.
• 5+ years of experience related to data centers.
• Proven experience designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Experience with BIM workflow (Autodesk Revit MEP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients as part of the integrated design process.
• Create and coordinate documents using Revit.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Write and review specifications.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs and submittals.
• Conduct site visits.
• Manage electrical project teams or interdisciplinary project teams.
