Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex, cross-functional programs aimed at improving and standardizing data center facilities across the portfolio. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage schedules and budgets, and report progress to leadership.

Candidates should have seven or more years of PM experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record delivering infrastructure projects in data center environments. Able to travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Seven or more years of Project Management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience building detailed technical project plans and task dependencies.
• Experience managing complex, strategic programs with multiple sub-projects/workstreams.
• Experience working in data center environments.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs focused on improving, standardizing, and optimizing data center facilities across the company portfolio.
• Turn complex issues into actionable plans and coordinate execution across multiple workstreams.
• Provide reporting to leadership on progress, risks, schedule, budget and business impact.
• Coordinate with systems, network, security engineering teams and contractors to validate scope and deliverables.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans with milestones and due dates.
• Monitor and report project status to leadership including risks and issues.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment to approve changes and ensure timely delivery.
• Travel up to 25%.
