Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale cabling deployments for hyperscale and enterprise data centers in the United States. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive risk mitigation across multi-year programs.

You will establish executive governance, report financial performance, and mentor project managers while ensuring safety, schedule, and installation quality on diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience in high-density structured cabling deployments in hyperscale or large enterprise data centers.
• Management of customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Proven financial management experience with multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Provide regular financial reporting and forecasting to leadership.
• Owning financial performance for assigned cabling projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, ensuring projects stay within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of LINX’s largest and most technically complex projects for large hyperscale customers, including design-build engagements and multi-year contract programs.
• Establish executive-level project governance and communication cadence.
• Act as escalation point for client and internal issues.
• Lead cross-functional coordination between operations, engineering, procurement, and field teams.
• Drive proactive schedule compression planning and risk mitigation strategies.
• Own full financial performance of assigned projects and programs.
• Drive margin expansion through cost forecasting discipline and procurement strategy alignment.
• Informally mentor and coach Project Managers.
