Gray Construction, Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking a Senior Manager for Pre-Construction Services focused on mission critical/data center projects.

You will lead pre-construction strategy, develop estimates, and align cost strategies with client objectives and schedules. You will mentor the team and work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, scheduling, and design management to ensure a seamless transition from pre-construction into execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project management with a focus on mission critical or data center construction.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Proficient in standard business and pre-construction software tools, including document preparation, spreadsheets, email, and estimating related applications.

Responsibilities

Leads pre-construction strategy from opportunity evaluation through final pricing and transition to execution.
Directs development and validation of conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates.
Evaluates opportunities early to support Go/No Go decisions and resource allocation.
Acts as trusted partner to customers, designers, and consultants to define scope and align assumptions.
