Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years commissioning SCADA/EPMS or microgrid control systems; or 3+ years with real-time power control experience.
• Experience with real-time automation controllers and protocol interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site commissioning of microgrid control and power management systems during testing and energization
• Configure and troubleshoot master controllers and field automation controllers at device and system level
• Interpret and modify IEC61131-3 logic to diagnose field issues under pressure
• Verify Modbus and DNP3 communications across TCP/serial and IEC61850 messaging
• Ensure economic dispatch, peak shaving, export, islanding, and ride-through operations
• Operate within VLAN-segmented OT networks and verify GOOSE behavior
• Serve as primary on-site interface with clients, agents, contractors, and utility during witness testing
