Job summary

Suffolk Construction in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager for data center construction. You will oversee project administration, budgets, forecasting, risk management, and subcontractor coordination to drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Sr. Project Management role with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data center construction in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, billing, risk management and executive-level reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-to-complete forecasts and maintain accurate financial reporting.
• Manage change orders, allowances and ensure timely cost recovery with subs.
• Lead project closeout planning, documentation collection and punch list management.
• Oversee owner and subcontractor requisitions, schedules of values, and cash flow.
• Maintain project logs, track metrics, identify risks and operational issues.
• Build strong subcontractor relationships and address performance concerns.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, critical path, and owner reporting.
• Mitigate risks through contract compliance and timely notices.
• Foster strong owner relationships through proactive communication and quality delivery.
• Implement quality management programs and nonconformance tracking.
