Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Staff Data Center Software Developer to design and build end-to-end DataCenter applications, spanning web UI dashboards, backend services, and data storage. You will work across React, Python (Flask/FastAPI), and SQL/NoSQL databases to deliver secure, scalable platforms for customers and internal teams.

You will lead technical directions, mentor engineers, and implement monitoring, security, and deployment practices using Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and RBAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of full-stack development experience, including production web UI/dashboard design and delivery.
• Strong React frontend and a UI/UX sensibility for dashboards.
• Strong backend skills in Python (Flask or FastAPI).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Application Development: design and build end-to-end apps for DataCenter Systems across web UI, backend, and data storage.
• Web UI & Dashboard Design: create dashboards for monitoring and managing data center customers and their systems.
• API Design & Integration: design RESTful APIs and microservices for dashboards, provisioning, telemetry, and automation.
• Database Engineering: develop schema and queries for SQL and NoSQL databases to support features and analytics.
• Cloud Platform Deployment: deploy apps to AWS/Azure/GCP or private Kubernetes with Docker and Helm.
