Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Senior Building Automation Engineer to lead complex controls troubleshooting and ensure reliability of BMS, EPMS, PLC, SCADA, and OT systems across data center facilities.

You will mentor junior engineers, set automation standards, and partner with security and reliability teams to improve uptime, alarm quality, and data visibility across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with BMS, EPMS, PLC, SCADA, HMI and OT integration.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions without formal people management.
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Controls or related field preferred; equivalent experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource for BMS, EPMS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and OT network systems.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action for controls and OT issues.
• Review and improve control logic, sequences of operation, alarms, points structures, and graphics.
• Provide technical leadership for commissioning, startup, turnover, retrofits, and upgrades.
• Support automation governance, cybersecurity practices, and documentation standards.
