Prime Data Centers seeks a Director of Operations Engineering to lead the technical strategy and reliability for operating data centers. You will partner with CFMs and Chief Engineers, own the RCA program, and drive continuous improvement across electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.

You will build a portfolio-wide reliability program, manage a high-caliber team, and ensure engineering standards, documentation, and change control are rigorously applied across the portfolio.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• 8+ years of professional experience managing teams and overseeing operations.
• 8+ years of direct engineering experience in a technical/critical environment (data centers, hospitals, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience leading formal RCAs and implementing corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E/70B, NEC, OSHA and ASHRAE guidance.
• Willingness to travel 10–30% and respond to incidents outside business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead a team of operations/reliability engineers across electrical, mechanical, and controls.
• Serve as senior technical escalation path for CFMs and CEs on complex issues.
• Establish intake/triage/response model for site engineering requests with defined SLAs.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting during critical events to meet uptime and SLA commitments.
• Own RCA program including methodology, reporting standards, training, and closure verification.
• Develop a portfolio-wide reliability program with RCAs, PM optimization, and failure trending.
• Define engineering baseline for sites (single-lines, studies, settings, SOPs/MOPs).
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Design, Construction, and Commissioning.
