Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. This leadership role is responsible for implementing policies to ensure quality standards and for guiding facility management teams across programs.

The role requires extensive experience in data center/facility management, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% and work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12 years in data center or facility management.
• Strong knowledge of Data Center Operations and system configurations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop team performance; balance training and certification programs.
• Define and deploy QA strategies and oversee project delivery.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and customer requirements.
• Communicate across BGIS departments to maximize opportunities and ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensure ongoing quality assurance and documentation across accounts.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
