Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, facilities management, construction management, engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in facility management.
• Five years' experience in critical electrical industry preferred.
• Eight years journeyman HVAC/electrical preferred.
• Data center operations knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of building infrastructure systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and train teams.
• Professional affiliations preferred (24x7, IFMA, Data Center Pulse).

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects by utilizing appropriate resources effectively and balancing client requirements with company strategies.
• Define client project requirements and determine required resources for the project.
• Manage projects to completion by implementing schedules and client management visibility.
• Provide ongoing updates to internal team and clients regarding project status.
• Balance competing client priorities and negotiate compromises among projects.
• Ensure all projects are performed safely and per safety policies.
• Oversee document management processes and standards.
• Capture events to improve problem/incidence management.
• Monitor training and produce high level reporting.
• Establish KPIs for measurement and verification.
• Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions across languages.
• Provide proposals for retrofits, upgrades and enhancements to equipment.
• Ensure high customer and employee satisfaction while maintaining profitability.
• Document and escalate project and customer issues when needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to maximize opportunities and customer satisfaction.
