Job summary

T5Datacenters seeks a Senior Critical Facilities Technician (Sr. CFT) to lead data center operations for critical and non-critical infrastructure. You will train junior technicians, uphold safety standards, and drive reliable facility performance.

You will work with the Facilities team to maintain 100% uptime, manage CMMS documentation, and collaborate with the CFM/ACFM on daily operations and incident response.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Military or technical school training preferred.
• 3+ years experience in mission critical environments preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems.
• Assist leadership to deliver total availability while minimizing risks.
• Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions in data halls.
• Provide technical expertise in mechanical and electrical support systems for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Use CMMS to manage planned and unplanned data center work.
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Plan, schedule, and execute electrical and mechanical corrective issues with clear communication.
• Troubleshoot and document issues, elevate when needed, and ensure resolution.
• Respond to emergencies and support a team approach to daily activities.
• Develop, review, and execute operating procedures and standards.
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy and documentation.
• Enforce data center standards and policies with the team.
• Manage workflow tasks to ensure timely turnarounds and change control.
