Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking an experienced data center operations professional to monitor enterprise-level multi-server environments and guide junior staff. Under limited supervision, you will ensure uptime and perform routine checks, power audits and incident documentation.

You will troubleshoot issues per knowledge base, submit maintenance requests, and coordinate with software systems engineering for changes to optimize workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in computer science or related field; 6 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center operations and maintenance activities.
• Lead and mentor lower level team members.
• Perform routine checks, power audits, and log maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues per knowledge base and document incidents.
• Submit and track facility maintenance requests and reports.
• Perform Tier 1 ticket requests and support team.
• Coordinate with software systems engineering for changes.
• Follow operational procedures to resolve system problems.
