Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for Ethernet switching solutions. Based in San Jose, CA, you will support pre-sales inquiries and post-sales deployment for switch platforms, focusing on data center networking and AI/HPC infrastructure.

You will engage with customers as a trusted advisor, lead next-gen CPO and photonics-based systems projects, and coordinate cross-functional debugging with hardware, firmware, software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in solutions architecture, technical support, or FAE roles in networking.
• Deep understanding of Ethernet switching and data center networking.
• Hands-on experience with networking switch products and Linux NOS.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface for customers on switch-related solutions.
• Lead development, integration, validation, and support of next-gen networking systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving hardware, firmware, and software integration.
• Support rack integration, network configuration, validation, and deployment readiness.
• Create deployment guides and knowledge-based articles; deliver training.
