Job summary

Poutrix is seeking a Mission Critical Mechanical Engineering SME based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide technical expertise, train the engineering team, and guide clients in data center projects while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, PE Registration, and at least 2 years of experience. A strong background in data center mechanical engineering is required.

The position offers competitive benefits, including medical, PTO, and a salary range of $185,000 - $350,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of relevant experience in data center Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with industry standards and building codes related to data centers.
• Experience in Data Center / Mission Critical system design.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultant mechanical engineering advice to clients.
• Assist in client contact and finding opportunities.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors.
• Mentor staff and participate in all phases of the project.
