Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Portfolio Relationship Manager to own a growing lending portfolio and drive deal execution from origination to funding. You will partner with sponsors and financial institutions, lead the credit process, and manage high-value portfolios with a focus on risk and performance.

You will source opportunities, negotiate terms, and mentor a team of portfolio managers while navigating complex data center financing deals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• 2+ years of industry knowledge in data centers, infrastructure, or commercial lending.
• 2+ years in financial modeling, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
• 2+ years of client relationship management and deal-term negotiations.
• 4+ years of advanced Microsoft Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, structure, and execute new lending opportunities with sponsors and financial institutions.
• Lead underwriting and credit approval processes.
• Oversee existing and new loan portfolios, including modifications and financial analysis.
• Serve as central contact for borrowers, sponsors, legal advisors, and risk teams.
• Mentor and develop a team of portfolio managers to drive excellence.
• Navigate complex deals with credit structuring and due diligence.
