Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking a motivated Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to support the Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager for large-scale data center modules. The role focuses on electrical scope, design validation, and ensuring safety and reliability in hyperscale environments.

You will check drawings, develop control narratives, and troubleshoot commissioning issues while collaborating with vendors and clients to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineering License (Preferred).
• 7 to 15 years experience in controls and instrument design and engineering.
• Experience with CAD and BIM software including CAD/AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks; familiarity with BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve drawings, information, and documentation meeting Industrial standards and code.
• Attend Design and Development Planning and Review sessions to meet customer needs.
• Prepare Technical Requisitions for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Review vendor quotations and perform bid analysis to ensure project requirements.
• Prepare control narratives and instrumentation deliverables and BOMs.
