Job summary

Olsson is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer to join a growing team of Electrical and Control System Engineers, Integrators, and Technicians. You will design instrumentation and control systems for Data Centers and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of Building Management Systems.

Expect responsibilities across design, specifications, field execution, and occasional site travel.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Attention to detail is critical for control system design.
• Ownership of work items and accountability are expected.
• Professional engineering license is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design instrumentation and control systems for data centers.
• Develop BMS sequences of operations and manage specs and drawings.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, subconsultants, clients and vendors to ensure proper design and construction of Data Center Building Management Systems.
• Review submittals, perform field inspections and testing as needed.
• May require occasional travel to project sites for meetings and construction administration.
