Job summary

Actalent seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead comprehensive estimates for large, mission-critical electrical construction, with a focus on data center work. You will build budgets, assess risk, and shape pursuit strategies for projects from 5MW to 200MW, exceeding $20 million in contract value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in electrical estimating, preconstruction, project management, or field operations.
• Proven success estimating electrical projects exceeding $20 million in contract value.
• Extensive experience supporting data center projects from 5MW to 200MW.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed estimates, budgets, competitive bids, negotiated proposals, and change order pricing for mission-critical electrical construction and data center projects.
• Develop estimating execution plans with priorities, milestones, and risk assessments.
• Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to establish a clear basis of estimate.
• Coordinate pricing and scope for owner-furnished equipment including delivery and turnover requirements.
• Present estimate strategies and pricing recommendations to leadership and clients.
