Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio, Hilliard, seeks hands-on Data Center Facilities Engineer to operate and troubleshoot critical data center equipment including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

You will lead escalation, perform root-cause analyses, train technicians, drive standard practices, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain 99.99% uptime. Growth within AWS infrastructure offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for facilities issues and oversee emergency services for critical systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures within SLA.
• Provide training to Engineering Operations Technicians and coordinate with Facility Manager.
