Job summary
Supermicro is seeking a Data Center Engineer to support the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of high-performance data center infrastructure, with emphasis on server, networking, power, and cooling systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in data center operations or related infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of x86 server platforms, storage, and enterprise networking.
- Experience with rack installation, power distribution, and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostics, troubleshooting methodologies, and vendor support.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and networking hardware.
- Monitor environmental conditions and respond to incidents.
- Coordinate RMAs and vendor support as needed.
- Assist with capacity planning, inventory, and expansion projects.
- Document configurations, procedures, and changes accurately.
- Support audits, security, and compliance in data center operations.
