Job summary

The role requires five years of licensed experience, ability to read schematics, on-call rotation, and coordination with facilities, HVAC, and network teams; duties include documenting work in Maximo and adhering to safety standards for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years' experience as a licensed electrician, including 24 months of maintenance experience on equipment/systems in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Active Local Municipality Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical electrical systems supporting data center operations.
• Execute safe electrical switching, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and energized work procedures per NFPA 70E and local codes.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and prevent service interruptions.
• Support 24x7 electrical coverage for the data center, including emergency response and after-hours call-outs.
• Coordinate with data center operations, facilities engineering, HVAC technicians, and network teams.
