Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Infrastructure Design or Data Center/Mission-Critical Design, Construction, or Operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Center Design Engineering, Principal Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams to design and develop innovative concepts into new products for data center power distribution.
• Lead new product design and development, understand design requirements, and solicit customer input.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, reliability, QA/QC and compliance teams to create well-thought-out products.
• Specify electrical equipment, devices and bill of materials with global suppliers and manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and building codes across countries.
• Prepare, review and approve product designs and drawings including BOMs, configurations, layouts and wiring drawings.
• Define project scope and provide technical support before and during manufacturing phases.
• Work with field engineering and commissioning teams to set up test processes and validate installation, operation and performance of electrical products.
