Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in building intelligence, seeks a Critical Environments Technician to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical and automated control systems in a data center setting.

You will monitor operations, perform routine inspections, and work with vendors to ensure uptime and safety. The role requires a strong background in data centers or technical facilities, ability to work independently, and familiarity with CMMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in data center or technical facilities.
• Must successfully complete enhanced background screening prior to hire.
• Strong troubleshooting background.
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with MS Office programs and CMMS systems.
• HVAC or Electrical with a Journeyman preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, Electrical and Automated Controls Systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, Electrical and Automated Controls Systems.
• Follow local and industry safety standards and regulations.
• Attend daily maintenance meetings.
• Assist in creating Maintenance Operating Procedures.
• Update CMMS records.
• Perform Electrical power isolation procedures.
• Inspect Data Hall rack equipment and related infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents to minimize outages.
• Escort and manage third party vendors on site.
