Job summary

RED Group is seeking a Senior Control Systems Consultant to act as the on-site technical authority for building automation and control systems on a large data center project. You will oversee design implementation, integration, commissioning, and validation to meet project specifications and reliability targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or commensurate experience.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial or mission-critical control systems.
• Deep knowledge of BAS, EPMS, power monitoring, PLCs, instrumentation and SCADA.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site SME for BAS/EPMS/SCADA and related control systems.
• Review designs, submittals, shop drawings, and sequences of operation.
• Lead controls coordination meetings across MEP and IT systems.
• Oversee installation of control panels, field devices, and network infrastructure.
• Execute controls commissioning plans and point-to-point verification.
• Maintain documentation including as-builts and network diagrams.
• Coordinate turnover to operations and facilities teams.
