Job summary

Ascent, LLC is seeking a Lead Systems Specialist (Controls & Automation) for Alpharetta, GA to test, commission, and diagnose BAS, EPMS and DCIM systems on mission-critical sites. You will lead TCP/IP and RS-485 network configurations, coordinating with vendors and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements include 4+ years in data center or controls roles, knowledge of BMS/BACNET/LON/MODBUS, and PLC/DDC ladder logic.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Data Center Technician or Controls Technician roles.
• High School Diploma required; relevant certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of BMS and BAS systems.
• Familiar with BACNET/LON/MODBUS protocols; TCP/IP and RS-485 networking.

Responsibilities

• Test, commission, and diagnose BAS, EPMS, DCIM, Electrical, HVAC systems.
• Lead TCP/IP and RS-485 network configurations on controls devices.
• Prepare project documentation and closeout materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, PMs, and internal/external teams.
