Job summary

Element Critical seeks a Data Center Field Superintendent in Austin, TX to lead on-site operations, coordinate MEP/IT integration, and manage safety, quality, and schedule performance for data center projects. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and rigorous adherence to industry standards.

You will oversee subcontractors, drive daily field activities, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in client and internal meetings to ensure project milestones are achieved

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and CQC typical for the role.
• 10+ years in construction supervision, with multiple projects >$10M and data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and daily field operations to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals.
• Maintain a zero-incident safety culture through audits and proactive risk management.
• Review schedules with GC/subcontractors and keep two-week look‑ahead to protect critical-path milestones.
