Job summary

Danis is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on a large, complex data center project in Austin, TX. You will ensure safety, schedule, and quality, overseeing field teams and coordinating trade partners.

This role emphasizes planning, problem-solving, and strong communication across the jobsite, with growth opportunities through Danis University and leadership development. You’ll mentor staff and build client relationships while delivering high-impact

Qualifications

• Experience as superintendent or field leader on construction sites.
• Strong background in commercial or mission-critical projects (data center experience is a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as BIM 360, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations to align with schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
• Oversee subcontractors, self-perform teams, and field personnel across multiple scopes.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities, sequencing work for efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a strong presence in the field, addressing issues before progress impacts progress.
• Develop and manage short-term and long-term schedules with the project team.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and trade partners to stay aligned.
• Identify constructability challenges and resolve workflow constraints.
• Lead site logistics planning and ensure smooth jobsite operations.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Mentor field staff and build a collaborative, accountable culture.
• Build relationships with clients and subcontractors; communicate clearly.
