Job summary

Danis Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support a large, complex data center project in Austin. This field-driven role collaborates with Superintendents, trade partners, and project teams to maintain safety, schedule, and quality on site.

You’ll own specific scopes, coordinate trades, support self-perform work, and address field challenges in real time, with strong exposure to building systems and a clear path toward superintendent progression.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction field experience.
• Experience on complex commercial or mission-critical projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and field coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent in daily field operations across assigned scopes.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, field crews, and project teams to keep work progressing.
• Plan and sequence upcoming work activities, identifying potential challenges early.
• Assist with layout, field verification, and hands-on work when required.
• Maintain safety, quality, and alignment with project drawings and specs.
