Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a Senior Data Center Project Manager for the Southern US region. You will lead development within shell buildings, review SOWs, and manage installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while staying on-site 80% of the time.

Applicants should have 7+ years in data center PM, strong design/construction/commissioning knowledge, and experience with vendor pricing. Relocation assistance is available; salary range is $18,000–$215,000 per year.

Qualifications

7+ years in data center project management.
Experience with data center design, construction and commissioning.
Experience reviewing data center SOWs and vendor pricing.
Ability to troubleshoot during commissioning and construction.
Strong budgeting, scheduling and resource management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
On-site availability 80%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of data center development within an existing shell building.
Review and validate scope of work documents and pricing from data center vendors.
Manage installation and commissioning of critical MEP systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and construction.
Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while meeting specs.
Be physically present on-site 80%+ of the time.
Communicate project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Collaborate with Operations to meet operational requirements.
