Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Project Executive for data center construction in Temple, Texas. You will oversee delivery, lead client relations, and guide teams across multiple sites from preconstruction through commissioning.

The role requires 10+ years in construction management with data center exposure, strong leadership, and expertise in civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes. Proficiency with Procore and MS Project is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience, including data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience with large-scale project delivery for general contractors or owner/operators.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• Proven leadership with multi-team mentoring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management abilities.
• Proficient with construction and project management software (Procore, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for data center construction projects across full lifecycle.
• Serve as primary client-facing executive with strong relationships and outcomes.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and portfolio-level risk.
• Guide project managers, superintendents, and field teams for consistency and quality.
• Coordinate with design partners, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, codes, and processes.
• Assist with preconstruction: estimating, planning, procurement, design reviews.
• Identify and resolve escalated issues and drive execution improvements.
