Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager for Data Center Construction in Louisiana.

You will own scope, budget, and schedules for new builds, lead construction oversight, and work with Operations, Networking, and Security teams to deliver high-performance data centers. The role requires leadership in MEP disciplines, constructability reviews, and close coordination with general contractors through bidding, execution, and hand-off to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction of data center delivery, mission critical facilities, or equivalent industrial builds.
• Experience constructing electrical and mechanical systems, including large scale power distribution and cooling.
• Experience in managing large complex projects with MEP plants.
• Experience in project control (cost/schedule) for infrastructure and mission critical projects, on-site and preconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for construction of new builds or capital projects.
• Oversee construction activities and coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams.
• Represent Amazon on construction sites and manage interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and closeout.
