Job summary

Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company, seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead data center programs within the Global Design and Construction team in New York City.

You will direct day-to-day management of a team of project managers, coordinate with Design, Procurement, Operations, Security and IT/Network, and drive safety, quality and on-time delivery across complex facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction PM for data center, pharma or similar
• Strong MEP knowledge for mission-critical
• Based in NYC metro; on-site 3 days/week
• Customer-focused
• Self-motivated and flexible
• Knowledge of regulations and best practices
• Experience with construction procurement
• Bachelor's or equivalent in eng/PM
• Proficiency with MS Project or P6; data center exp

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple data center projects through lifecycle
• Lead safety, standards and culture
• Oversee progress, quality, and code compliance
• Ensure projects meet company expectations
• Maintain project risk registers
• Drive new data center concepts to approval
• Direct external vendors and internal teams
• Identify and develop training programs
• Manage prime/subcontract contracts and change orders
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures
