Job summary

Equinix is seeking a senior leader to drive the Commissioning strategy across large-scale data center construction programs, ensuring Ready for Service milestones. You will partner with Construction, Operations, and external partners to standardize processes and deliver high-quality commissioning outcomes across greenfield and retrofit projects.

The role focuses on program leadership, stakeholder engagement, performance insights, and vendor management to drive continuous improvement and delivery

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data center commissioning within mission-critical environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi-site construction programs.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systems, including MEP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing external vendors and large-scale service delivery contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning delivery across multiple concurrent data center construction projects.
• Develop standardized commissioning strategies, frameworks, and schedules across the portfolio.
• Own pipeline planning to optimize resource allocation and execution strategy.
• Partner with Construction, Design, and Operations to ensure project delivery.
• Oversee testing procedures, reports, and readiness assessments.
