Job summary

Equinix, a global leader in digital infrastructure, seeks a senior leader to drive commissioning strategy across large data-center programs. You will partner with Construction, Operations, and external partners to ensure readiness and high-quality outcomes, while improving standards and delivery models.

This role requires deep MEP expertise, multi-site leadership, and strong stakeholder influence. You will own commissioning governance, develop testing protocols, and oversee reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data center commissioning within mission-critical environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi-site construction programs.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systems (MEP).
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing external vendors and large-scale service delivery contracts.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning delivery across multiple concurrent data center construction projects.
• Develop and implement standardized commissioning strategies, frameworks, and schedules across the portfolio.
• Own pipeline planning to optimize resource allocation and execution strategy.
• Partner cross-functionally with Construction, Design, and Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide input into project budgets, commissioning strategies, and testing protocols, including FAT, FPT, and IST.
