Job summary

Obviant is seeking a Senior Data & BI Automation Analyst to lead analytics and build scalable data pipelines. You will replace manual workflows with automated, self-service data systems and partner with data engineering to optimize ELT/ETL processes.

You will work with Looker/Tableau/Power BI to deliver dashboards and semantic layers, enabling cross-functional teams to derive actionable insights at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analytics, BI engineering, or data automation with a proven automation track record.
• Degree in CS/IS/Math/Stats/Economics or a quantitative field preferred.
• Strong SQL and data modeling with dbt for production-grade pipelines.
• Proficient Python for API integration, data manipulation, and automation (Pandas, Airflow, Prefect).

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain automated reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data delivery pipelines.
• Audit manual reporting processes and replace with automated scripts and data workflows.
• Interface with business leaders to translate needs into scalable automated solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design models and ELT/ETL jobs (dbt, Airflow).
• Deliver self-service BI capabilities and semantic layers for stakeholders.
