Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a Senior Data Management Professional for the People Data team within the Data organization. You will design automated data workflows to enhance data quality, broaden coverage, and streamline onboarding, maintenance, and validation across datasets.

You will implement AI-enabled workflows, collaborate with Data, Product, Enterprise, and Engineering, and drive governance, profiling, and monitoring to ensure reliable data at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in CS, Math, IS, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in Data Quality/Management/Acquisition/Operations within Finance or Tech industries.
• Experience applying AI, ML, NLP, or rules-based automation to data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable solutions to improve data quality and automate acquisition across the People Data product.
• Identify bottlenecks and translate them into automation opportunities and preventive controls.
• Build and deploy automation that expands coverage and scales onboarding/maintenance of datasets.
• Investigate operational challenges and develop scalable solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Define success metrics to measure automation impact and data quality improvements.
