Job summary

Bloomberg in New York is seeking a Data Product Owner to lead data-driven improvements across AI-enabled products. You will align product, engineering, and operations around a shared vision to deliver scalable data capabilities and measurable business value.

The role emphasizes workflow optimization, data as a strategic asset, and collaboration with Data, Product, and Engineering teams to turn complex challenges into reliable, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM.
• At least four years in data management including data quality, modeling, and sampling.
• Experience with Tableau or Qlik Sense for communicating results.
• Experience with Python, R, or SQL for data profiling/analysis.
• Experience analyzing financial datasets or financial market concepts.
• Strong problem-solving to handle annotation and data-architecture challenges.
• Interest in generative AI frameworks and Agentic AI requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve scalable data frameworks and evaluation strategies for AI-related tasks.
• Align data frameworks with product objectives to ensure trustworthy intelligence.
• Act as a primary liaison across Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
• Define requirements and reusable evaluation rubrics for data products.
• Drive automated evaluation infrastructure to accelerate multi-functional delivery.
