Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks a Senior Data & Automation Analyst to lead data visualization, analytics, and workflow automation for the Office of Research and Innovation. You will translate business workflows into automated solutions, serve as a bridge between enterprise systems and ORI units, and drive high-impact initiatives across the research enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting reporting requirements from executive and operational stakeholders.
• Two years in warehousing reporting tools to design reports/visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and deploys dashboards, analytics, and automated workflows.
• Interacts with ORI Leaders to identify reporting needs.
• Works with analysts/architects to design data models for reporting needs.
• Champions AI tools and low-code tech to automate processes and document steps.
• Audits and catalogs transaction records for clean migration into enterprise data repositories.
• Evaluates data models for accuracy and performance.
• Documents definitions, business logic, and SOPs for governance.
• Maintains SOPs, policy summaries, FAQs, and AI tool guides.
• Ensures content is current and properly tagged per governance standards.
