Job summary

BrickRed Systems in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Architect to lead enterprise semantic model architecture and governance across multiple business workstreams. The role emphasizes Microsoft Fabric, Semantic Layer, and Power BI, with strong emphasis on data modeling and certification.

You will drive RLS/OLS controls, data lineage, and SOX compliance while mentoring teams and shaping deployment strategies for Dev/Test/Prod.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, analytics engineering, or BI platform leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Semantic Layer.
• Strong experience with Power BI, data modeling, and SOX compliance.
• Experience leading architecture reviews across multiple business workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise semantic layer architecture using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Design and develop certified semantic models across business workstreams.
• Establish semantic modeling standards, including DAX measures.
• Implement RLS, OLS, governance, and SOX controls.
• Define Fabric deployment strategies for Dev/Test/Prod.
• Mentor technical teams and promote reusable architecture patterns.
